Hello guys I am suggesting it might be better to find a way to direct people's questions to be posted on Stack Overflow. That way we can easily take advantage of Google when people have issues than having to come here. I also do think this might increase the app's visibility and use this way.

tag already in use at Stack Overflow and we can do a better job tracking questions there, it certainly lives longer than Slack threads. As a kind of middle point, there's discuss.flyte.org

SO has search in general, slack is pretty awful.
the issue i found when we were pushing people to use SO is that it’s not well-suited for conversations. very often it’s a dialogue going back and forth 30+ times before we fully understand the situation and can debug
