#3049 [Core feature] Use nightly flytekit builds in functional tests Issue created by eapolinario ### Motivation: Why do you think this is important? The release cycle for new flytekit versions is extremely long, requiring a (manual) process. This makes the feedback loop for catching errors in build steps more error-prone than necessary. ### Goal: What should the final outcome look like, ideally? Invest in nightly flytekit builds and use them in functional tests. ### Describe alternatives you've considered We could have a manual weekly release as an alternative, but that would still leave us with a longer-than-necessary turnaround time. ### Propose: Link/Inline OR Additional context Generate nightly flytekit images and pipe them through functional tests. ### Are you sure this issue hasn't been raised already? • Yes ### Have you read the Code of Conduct? • Yes flyteorg/flyte
