I think one of the core problems Flyte solves has to do with the proliferation of heterogenous tools and data formats in production ML pipelines, which slows down experimentation and time-to-prod, and Flyte does it by providing a consistent interface across all those different data formats and tools. All of it, while enforcing type safety, local execution out of the box and multiple integrations. The less complex or heterogeneous the interfaces is, the quicker the path to prod.
