LinkedIn Audio events are going away after December. 😭 If anyone has suggestions for how to continue the live discussions in 2025 let me know!

How about Twitter spaces? 🤔

I thought about and open to trying it, but I think for the first one(in Jan) im going to try a live video stream to LinkedIn and maybe YouTube + Twitter at the same time. People can still join with cameras off and the commenting will be way better if people want energage in conversation that way instead.

I imagine YouTube would be the most mature platform but who knows. Even google hangouts / slack / discord would be enough. I don't use twitter so that's one I'd avoid.

yeah I actually think this will reach more people. But my goal is also to make it easy for people to engage with it and contribute to the conversation still. Many people are just listeners though and being to have them leave comments easier might be a nice way of still hearing from them

i am with @rapid-appointment-83587 on preference for Youtube which has a chat option to interact. slack or discord as well but it might require people to install them vs linkedin or youtube. google hangouts might be another option. Since twitter became x, it has become crowded with fake information, i don’t think it is a great forum for this.

I think I'll stream to both LinkedIn & YouTube and be able to see the chat from each and be able to highlight them in the stream. I'll have an invite link for people to join the stream too, but I think I'll make them request the link via LinkedIn message or be a know reoccurring member.
