I saw that for
agent-service
I can configure the
timeouts
for
CreateTask
,
GetTask
,
DeleteTask
etc. Is it also possible to configure the frequency the agents updates the status? I am planning to run log running tasks. Fetching the status from the backend every 5 sec would be too frequent and the backend will likely pushback or reject my requests, especially when running many tasks concurrently. It would be great if I could configure my agent to only update the status every 60 sec or so.

The frequency is not possible to be configured, but this is a cool usecase

thanks. is this something you could include in a future release?

Thanks @glamorous-carpet-83516. How would I update this in my Python project or k8s yaml?
g
add it in the config map
Copy code
plugins:
   agent-service:
     # By default, all requests will be sent to the default agent.
     defaultAgent:
       endpoint: "dns:///flyteagent.flyte.svc.cluster.local:8000"
     webApi:
       caching:
         resyncInterval: 60s
