Currently, Flyte does not have a built-in option to directly add metadata tags to objects saved in object storage like S3 or GCP as part of the standard data persistence layer. However, there is an ongoing discussion and potential plans to overhaul the data persistence layer, which might include this capability in the future. Users are encouraged to contribute to the discussion and express their needs, which could help shape the implementation of this feature.
