Hey @thankful-minister-83577, first test: no, we still can’t remove this 😕 I see 401 in the load balancer logs but it is interpreted as

StatusCode.UNKNOWN

by the python grpc client. I’ll put on my todo list to create an issue in the grpc repo with some debug logs and a minimal repro example
