👋 A quick sanity check on a process we're using. Today, we've considered the flyte data plane as a cache space and have a retention policy on the backing object storage. Objects older than N days are removed. For any artifacts we need to store long-term, we copy them out to a separate storage system. After seeing pr4655, I realize that this might be the wrong approach. Are we thinking about this right?

No this is the right way
The cache deletion is to help override cache in case of undesirable corruptions
