. We would like to at least consider supporting mixed-mode execution, where a locally declared workflow has tasks that run remotely and tasks that run locally. This issue probably warrants a POC effort and a design doc. This possibly relates to the broader async effort in flytekit (no issue for that yet - will try to remember to link when that is available).
