#2115 [Housekeeping] Handle dependencies dropping support for python 3.7
Issue created by
eapolinario
Describe the issue
Both pandas (starting on version 1.4.0) and numpy (starting on version 1.22.0) dropped support for python 3.7, which is supposed to reach EOL only on June-2023 (according to
https://www.python.org/dev/peps/pep-0537/#id27). This trend will probably apply to other libraries as well.
What if we do not do this?
In CI we strive to support the combination of latest versions of components. If we restrict the versions of numpy and pandas we won't be able to catch errors in newer versions.
Also, security reviews will flag the docker images we maintain for each version, pointing to these outdated versions.
