Hi, I'm Gerard Maas. I work for Cariad (VW group's SW arm) on data collection for self-driving perception models. I'm leading an effort to evaluate Flyte as an enabler for our Data Scientist to scale up their workflows. Prior to Cariad, I worked for an MLOps startup, orchestrating data/features and model train workloads on the cloud. I see that Flyte has got many of the concepts right from the start.

Thanks a lot for the warm welcome!. At this early stage, one area of improvement that I can see is that the docs lack information about how to deploy your app. There's a deployment section on the 'getting started guide, which involves the hello world example, but I haven't found much about the "packing, shipping, and publishing" process required to run a complex app.

Hi @square-airport-45182! We've a section on productionizing workflows in our getting started guide: https://docs.flyte.org/projects/cookbook/en/latest/getting_started/package_register.html#productionizing-your-workflows. I, however, agree that we need an end-to-end sort of guide. Let me know if there's something that's still unclear to you!

This is a good feedback. Cc @powerful-gold-59386 I think the docs should have a user deployment section
