btw @Cyrus and @Cody Scandore and a few others, you folks have been using R on Flyte. cc @Martin Stein do you folks think there is a use of an R SDK with flyte?

Our data scientists are interested in using R for certain tasks that are not really implemented as well in python, such as forecasting and MMM. I think if the goal is to make flyte the only workflow orchestration tool for data scientists in the company an integration would be nice.

For better or worse, there is strong support for bioinformatics tools in R. I would assume, freenome, latch, and possibly zymergen have experience implementing R-centric bioinformatics workflows in flyte.
